Know where you are seated

God was so gracious that He did come to us as Jesus, Who was fully God and fully man. He lives with us and was tested and tried just the way everyone is (Hebrews 4:15). He understands our problems, struggles and the weaknesses. That is why He knows we cannot do anything apart from Him (John15:5). We abide in His Words and that continually assures that we abide in Him. But still why do the challenges remain? How do we overcome?The fact is we sometimes try overcoming that which we have already overcome in Him (John 16:33). We are more than that. We are more than overcomers (Romans 8:37). Then where is the issue? It is our perspective.

We are familiar with the above that Jesus was where we are and He understands are problems. Therefore, we try to approach it from that perspective. If we were to put ourselves at the same level as where we are experiencing the challenges, they appear big and difficult. However, when we raise above, we have the vantage point. For instance, if there is a traffic jam and people are stuck, if you happen to be on the same road in a car at the same level, all you see is chaos, congestion and confusion. You may come to a conclusion that you are going to be there forever without being able to help resolve it. However, if you happen to be at a different level such as watching the scenario from a tall building or from a helicopter/flight, everything seems small. You may be able to see where exactly is the problem and who or what is causing it. You may be even able to help resolve it yourself or help someone. The truth is we are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).

Jesus did not remain here. He died, resurrected, rose up and He is sat at the right Hand of the Father. Not only does He have the vantage point to help us, He seated us with Him so that we may have the same perspective. But we need to recognise this truth, believe it and acknowledge it for it to be effectual. This seating arrangement and this position helps us to see that the challenges are overcome 2000 years ago. We are more than conquerors. We are merely effecting the done deal. From this seat, we are able to see the devil is a liar and a squatter who needs to be evicted from that which rightfully belongs to us. When you know the truth, the truth sets you free and brings you into victory in Jesus' Name! Therefore, know your seat. It is an expensive seat, which costed Him everything but was given as a gift and inheritance to us. It is a victorious seat, which was rightly won by the Lord. It is a powerful seat, which came from the power and authority Christ gave us. Win in life by operating from the victorious seat. Thanks be to God Who always leads us in victory!
